The Midday/Midnight Countdown

Jukebox 92.7 is always looking for great ways to spotlight great oldies! Every day at noon and again at midnight (CT), Jukebox 92.7 counts down the top 6 songs from a year in rock and roll history.

At noon, we countdown the top 6 songs, from #6 to #1. At midnight, we replay the complete 6 (and sometimes will play the long versions of some songs, too).

Our sources are the weekly Billboard Hot 100 charts from 1956 through 1986 and the Joel Whitburn Billboard Book of Top 40 Hits.
